Short Description

This symbol refers to the number of outputs of a neural network.

Medium Description

This symbol refers to the number of outputs in the final layer of a neural network. For classification tasks, we can have an output for each class that we want to classify. Whereas, for regression tasks, we would have an output for every variable that we are trying to predict.

The symbol \(M\) refers to the number of outputs in the final layer of a neural network. For classification tasks, we can have an output for each class that we want to classify. Whereas, for regression tasks, we would have an output for every variable that we are trying to predict.
